Certified Indoor Air Consultant
We are a fully accredited member of the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants.  Be comfortable in your new home!  Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions), irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins).  Inhaling or touching mold or mold spores may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.  Allergic responses include hay fever-type symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, red eyes, and skin rash (dermatitis). Allergic reactions to mold are common.  They can be immediate or delayed.  Molds can also cause asthma attacks in people with asthma who are allergic to mold. In addition, mold exposure can irritate the eyes, skin, nose, throat, and lungs of both mold-allergic and non-allergic people. As an Indoor Air Contultant I can perform tests to pre-determine if mold conditions will impact your comfort.
As a Trained and Approved Home Warranty Inspector, choosing A Proper Property for your Home Inspection means you can choose to add a home warranty.  The Home Warranty provides home buyers protection against common (and some not so common) household breakdowns.  Some examples of items covered include:  Electrical system (wiring failure, Switch Malfunction, Receptacle Failure, Breaker Malfunction), Central Heating (Furnace, Boiler, Fan, Motor, Controls, Ductwork, Zone Controls), Emergency Plumbing (bust pipes, Blocked sewer).  Your Home Inspector will review the coverage options with you at the time of inspection and will explain all of your options.
