Since 2007 A Proper Property has been involved with the ecoENERGY program delivered by the Ministry of Natural Resources Canada. During our time as Certified Energy Advisors and Certified Home Inspectors it became evident that there was a void in the industry for a full home services company. Making it easy to educate home owners on high consumption products and practices. As energy rates continue to soar the importance of cost effective energy use is more necessary than ever!
Teaming up with the established "ENERSTAR Heating and Cooling" and "InsulationXperts" A Proper Property is able to deliver education, evaluation and installation of energy efficient products. A Proper Property Home Services provides full HVAC services (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and Insulation services including Attics, walls, foundation walls using the latest products including fiberglass, cellulose and closed cell spray foam.
Government grants through numerous programs have been available to assist home owners to retrofit inefficient properties. We strongly believe in these programs. The intention of the program is to financially assist, educate and encourage home owners to reduce their consumption. To often we have seen contractors take advantage of the Government programs by raising their prices. A Proper Property has vowed to set pricing based on margins not how much financial assistance is available.
We have no ivory tower or lavish amenities. The home office located on Eastchester Avenue in St. Catharines is our main hub. You're always welcome to visit our showroom however don't be surprised to find the boardroom empty! Management of our company works directly with the consumers.
